UC/FL tribute to Prof. José Alberto dos Reis

On 10 December, a colloquium was held at Colégio da Trindade in honour of Prof. José Alberto dos Reis, commemorating the 150th anniversary of his birth.
It was a moment of reflection on the life and work of the honouree, as a professor, scholar and legislator.
It was attended by distinguished personalities, namely the President of the Supreme Court of Justice, the Vice-President of the Court of Appeal of Coimbra and the President of the Regional Council of the Bar Association.
The various scientific presentations were given by former and current faculty members and moderated by distinguished guests, most of whom were former students of the faculty.
The presence of the honouree's family and their testimonies illustrated the humanistic side of José Alberto dos Reis.

The event concluded with the presentation of awards by the "Fundação Doutor Alberto dos Reis" to the students who achieved the highest grades in the Civil Procedure course.
