Doctoral programme begins new academic year

On 8 October, the Faculty of Law welcomed its new PhD students. The opening session of the PhD programme was chaired by the Coordinator of the PhD in Law, Prof. Jorge Coutinho de Abreu, and Prof. Maria João Antunes, in her capacity as a member of the Coordinating Council of the Legal Institute. At this meeting, which took place in the Chapel of the Colégio da Trindade, the quality of the Faculty's legal research was highlighted and the projects of the Legal Institute were presented, as well as the many opportunities for collaboration that it offers to PhD students.
