The UC Faculty of Law has once again been recognised internationally in the Times Higher Education – World University Rankings by Subject as the best Faculty of Law among Portuguese universities, maintaining its top position in the field of Law in 2026, in a broad list of higher education institutions assessed worldwide. This ranking annually assesses higher education institutions in different scientific areas, based on indicators such as teaching quality, research, knowledge transfer and internationalisation.
