UC/FL celebrated 189 years of history

On 5 December, UC/FL celebrated 189 years since its foundation, reasserting its position as an essential reference in legal education in Portugal, where since its creation in 1836 it has been a space of freedom, culture and scientific rigour, training generations of lawyers, magistrates and academics who have marked public life and the evolution of law.
The celebrations took place, as usual, at Colégio da Trindade – Casa da Jurisprudência, in a solemn session with special emphasis on the Tribute to Alumni, dedicated to recognising the career and contribution of former students who, through their work and commitment, have honoured the tradition and values of UC/FL.
