GeneT participated in the 4th Teaming Club Conference – Delivering effective strategies for long-term sustainability, held from 15 to 17 October 2025 at the BIOPOLIS campus in Vairão.

The Coordinator of GeneT, Luís Pereira de Almeida, took part in the thematic session “Setting up, managing and sustaining research infrastructure”, sharing the centre’s experience in the creation and sustainability of research infrastructures of excellence.

The Teaming Club is an annual meeting that brings together Teaming projects funded by the European Union, at different stages of development and funding. These projects aim to create or consolidate centres of excellence in research and innovation, fostering international cooperation and regional impact.

This 4th edition gathered around 50 Teaming projects from across Europe, who exchanged strategies, challenges, and solutions to ensure the long-term sustainability of their initiatives.
GeneT’s participation reinforces the role of the University of Coimbra within the European network of leading research centres, contributing to the debate on science and innovation policies and to the building of strategic synergies.
