About
The Doctoral Schools of the University of Coimbra were established in 2021 and have the following main objectives:
- Promote the sharing of resources and modules between doctoral programs;
- Promote, share, and strengthen training in skills development for doctoral students;
- Promote the sharing and implementation of good practices among faculty/supervisors in the scientific supervision of students;
- Foster ways to follow-up PhD students in their post-doctoral career development;
- Promote reflection on emerging or relevant topics to be addressed within the scope of existing doctoral programs.
