The year 2024 brings Soapbox Science to the city of Coimbra for the second time.
This edition of Soapbox Science Coimbra 2024, which takes place on November 24, aims to ensure that everyone can enjoy, learn, question, interact and be inspired by women scientists from the UC.
These women are challenged to climb into a wooden box without a microphone to present their research simply and understandably through the streets of Coimbra Downtown.
The 2024 edition brings 14 women researchers from 8 of the University of Coimbra's R&D units to the streets of downtown Coimbra. PhD students, young female researchers and coordinators of UC R&D units, this edition brings a wide range of themes, experience and career stages.
This edition's partners are APBC, AMONET, Café Santa Cruz, Cosi and the Coimbra Municipal Museum.
