General rules
The Erasmus ICM (International Credit Mobility) must have a minimum duration of 5 days of activity (excluding Sundays), plus 2 days of travelling. The maximum duration is that stipulated for the place you have been allocated. The minimum number of lessons per week is 8 hours. The grant includes a subsistence allowance and travel expenses. Both amounts are tabulated by the European Commission and can be found on the ICM.UC project page (2018-2021). Teachers selected in one of the three ICM calls are entitled to Personal Accident Insurance (travel, medical assistance, repatriation, civil liability) provided directly by DRI. The rest of the teaching staff are entitled to reimbursement of the actual cost of the insurance (up to a maximum of 250 euros), on presentation of the receipt for the purchase of the insurance and the respective policy.

Formally agree the Teaching Mission Programme / Staff Mobility for Teaching - Mobility agreement with the foreign university, and before the mission begins Receive the ‘Scholarship Letter’ provided by DRI Purchase travel and accommodation Purchase a visa (for some destinations, there is the possibility of purchasing a special passport, which is visa-free. Check with DRI at dri.cooperacao@uc.pt) Register as a traveller on the Portuguese Communities portal, where you can obtain alerts, advice for travellers, information on the consular network, among other things Go to the traveller's appointment (can be booked with the SASUC medical services) Sign the Scholarship Contract with DRI Receive the Personal Accident Insurance (travel, medical assistance, repatriation, civil liability) provided directly by DRI OR present a receipt for the purchase of the insurance in order to be reimbursed (cf. general rules above). The teacher has a maximum of 15 days to submit the final documents to the DRI (or to the International Relations Office of their Faculty): Declaration proving that the teaching mission was carried out. Final Report, to be completed online using the link sent via email directly to the participating teacher by the European Commission (sender: replies-will-be-discarded@ec.europa.eu | email subject: ERASMUS+ individual participant report request)". Activity report requested by DRI. N.B.: It is up to the teacher to make their own request for a mission abroad under the Erasmus+ Programme, and it is not necessary to send a copy to DRI.
