From 27 to 31 October, the programme features lectures, conferences, and group workshops addressing the integration of Artificial Intelligence into administrative and legal systems, as well as its ethical, social, and legal implications. The sessions include contributions from both national and international experts and guest speakers from the United States.

The BIP “Administration and AI” is coordinated by Professor Matilde Lavouras, from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, in collaboration with the International Relations Unit (IRU). The multidisciplinary programme is also co-organised by the Ghent University (Belgium) and the Berlin School of Economics and Law (Germany).

The programme includes an intercultural session, coordinated by Professor Dörte Busch, and a practical group project aimed at developing innovative solutions applicable to the current legal and administrative context.
