Traineeship for Irish Translator

The European Central Bank has launched: Traineeship for Irish Translator

As a trainee Irish Translator you will:

• translate (non-legal) texts from English into Irish;

• revise and proofread texts in Irish;

• help to identify, extract and compile terminology, particularly in the fields of economics and finance;

• contribute to the Irish team’s other responsibilities, such as maintaining translation memories and providing linguistic advice.

Initial traineeship of between 3 and 6 months, with a possible extension to up to 12 months in total.

Grant: The trainee grant is €1,170 per month plus an accommodation allowance (see further information section)
