The European Central Bank has launched: Traineeship in the Information Governance Division

As a trainee you will:

  • provide ECB users with knowledge management support, including functional support for the ECB’s information management systems;
  • contribute to a wide range of operational information management support tasks related to the creation, processing, storage and preservation of information in a highly specialised environment;
  • contribute to the monitoring of and reporting on information management practices, as well as the implementation of the ECB’s retention policy for paper and digital records;
  • contribute to the Division’s innovative information and knowledge management projects;
  • contribute to the design and development of business configurations in the ECB’s information management systems by performing business analysis, collecting requirements, testing and carrying out change management activities; this may involve programming, depending on the skills of the successful candidate;
  • support and maintain the ECB’s information management policies and procedures, as well as internal knowledge bases and training material.

Initial traineeship of six months, with a possible extension to up to 12 months in total.
