From 6 to 8 May, the Convento de São Francisco in Coimbra will host the 16th edition of the Jornadas FCCN (FCCN Days), an event co-organised by the FCCN (digital services of the Foundation for Science and Technology - FCT), the University of Coimbra and Coimbra City Council. The event is a meeting point for the communities of managers and users who benefit from advanced communication and computing technologies.

Aimed at leaders and those responsible for the IT, documentation, library and archive services of Higher Education Institutions, as well as institutional decision-makers in this area, the event also attracts researchers and those responsible for research units working in the execution of science.

The Jornadas FCCN have a rich history of collaboration and knowledge sharing, with a record of 15 previous editions that have brought together approximately 5600 participants, more than 400 speakers and more than 230 sponsors. This year, the focus will continue to be on FCCN's key areas: connectivity, computing, collaboration, knowledge and security.

In addition, the Days will provide a unique opportunity for those who are part of the RCTS network or who have interests in these areas, to discuss and explore the latest technological innovations with experts in the field. It's a crucial moment to understand the current state and future trends in the digital universe.
