The selected professional will be responsible for coordinating and managing the community of actors involved in Diamond open access publishing in Europe. Key activities include communication with Diamond open access publishers, service providers, and communities, as well as representing the Diamond Capacity Hub (DCH) at public events and private meetings. Additionally, a minimum C1 level in written and spoken English is required, with proficiency in an additional European language being a plus.

The Diamond Hub, which will be officially launched in September 2024, is an initiative supported by the European DIAMAS and CRAFT-OA projects and is hosted by the European research infrastructure OPERAS—integrated by the University of Coimbra, which is a member of its Executive Assembly and leads its Special Interest Group in Multilingualism. The community manager will be assigned to the Open Research Data Directorate (DDOR) of CNRS, within the "Animation, Training, and Network" unit, under the responsibility of the head of international cooperation.
