Open Access International Week: discover two events this Friday, October 25
FCCN has webinar on open science in expansion; UC team presents OPERAS catalogue at the University of Algarve
This Friday, 25 October, as part of the activities of the International Open Access Week, FCCN, the digital services of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), is promoting the webinar ‘Expanding Open Science: New Models, Evaluation and Open Data’ at 10 am. At 11.30 am, the webinar on the catalogue of services of the OPERAS research infrastructure will take place, presented by the UC Open Science team.
In addition to a review of what has already been achieved in the field of open science, news and some indicators, the FCCN meeting will also discuss New Models of Scientific Communication, the Diamond Initiative and the National Programme for Open Science and Open Research Data, as well as the topic of Research Assessment. The webinar on the catalogue of services of the OPERAS infrastructure, which is focused on the field of Social Sciences and Humanities, will be presented by Lorena Caliman, from the UC Open Science and OPERAS-PT team, the national node of the infrastructure, led by the University of Coimbra. During the meeting, each of the services available to researchers, authors, publishers and other stakeholders in the open scholarly communication lifecycle will be presented.
