PALOMERA Feedback Survey - Help Shape the Future of OA Books
Have your say by 15 June on the first result of the project, the Knowledge Base on OA policies
The PALOMERA project (Policy Alignment of OA Monographs in the European Research Area) seeks to understand why so few Open Access funding policies include books and to provide actionable recommendations to change this situation. One of the project's first resources, the Knowledge Base, brings together Open Access book policy documents from across the European Research Area, with the aim of helping the community as a first step towards a better overview of the documents that exist or are available.
After months of work on this resource, the project, which is integrated by the University of Coimbra, is looking to find out how different organisations and researchers are using it or how they would use it. To this end, a short survey has been created, which should take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete. In it, you can give your opinion on different potential uses, as well as suggest ideas for future OA book policy recommendations that the project plans to present in the coming months.
The survey also contains a short demonstration (2-minute video) on how the Knowledge Base works.
The deadline for responses is 15 June. All contributions are very important to ensure the continuation of the project's work in harmony with the community.
