On 26 June 2025, ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa will host the workshop ‘Using Electronic Laboratory Notebooks and Data Documentation’. This event is especially aimed at Data Stewards, researchers, research support professionals and laboratory technicians who want to improve their skills in documenting and organising laboratory data using the eLabFTW software.

The workshop is part of the Re.Data consortium, integrated and co-led by the UC for training researchers. The event is organised as part of the Portuguese Data Stewards Network. The session will be led by Tiago Paixão, Head of Advanced Data Analysis - GIMM.

The main aim of the event is to demonstrate the potential of eLabFTW, presenting practical cases of its use in various areas of research. This software replicates the functionality of a paper laboratory notebook, allowing you to enter protocols, observations, notes and other essential data that ensure the reproduction of scientific experiments.

Registration is available at this link. More information is available on the event page.
