As the Guadalajara International Book Fair (30 November to 8 December) in Mexico approaches, a special edition of the journal Tendencia Editorial, published by the University of Rosario (Colombia), has just been published. The publication highlights Spain's participation as the guest of honour at this year's Fair. The commemorative edition features an original article by Professor Delfim Leão, UC Vice-Rector for Culture, Communication and Open Science, on Spain's entry into the OPERAS infrastructure.

The article focuses on Spain's integration as a core member of OPERAS, emphasising the importance of international collaboration and strengthening research infrastructures in open science in the Social Sciences and Humanities. The publication emphasises the crucial role that OPERAS plays in facilitating open access and promoting scholarly communication without barriers.

In addition, UC will be present at the Guadalajara International Book Fair, one of the largest literary events in the world, where Vice-Rector Delfim Leão is also expected to address OPERAS' collaboration beyond the European Research Area with Latin America. The UC's participation in the fair strengthens cultural and academic ties with the international community and promotes the visibility of open science initiatives.
