Feliciano de Mira.

Feliciano de Mira is a poet, polyartist and researcher. His poetic work is based on experimental art, as a source of research and creation, with an emphasis on the intersection between verbal, visual and sound languages. He holds a PhD in Socio-économie du Développement from the EHESS-École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris and a PhD in Economic and Organizational Sociology from ISEG-Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão of the Technical University of Lisbon. He carried out his postdoctoral research on Politics and Art in Contemporary Mozambican Society at EHESS-Paris/CES-UC. He was a fellow of the JNICT-National Board of Scientific and Technological Research and of the FCT-Foundation for Science and Technology, during his doctoral and post-doctoral studies. He has made several interventions, installations and performances. He has multiple works of video poetry. Since 1980 he has participated in individual and group exhibitions. He has also taken on curatorial duties at exhibitions and artistic events. He has been coordinator of EV.EX-Évora Experimental since 2019. Main works: Atão (Paper View, 2022), Rua Araújo/Caligramas (Paper View, 2022), Hotel Siesta (Palimage, 2017), Camponesa com a Cabeça de Deus ao Colo (Palimage/OE, 2017), Imaginários da Caatinga (OE, 2016), Benédiction (Palimage, 2006) and Quaternu d’Aistétiké 1 (Instituto Camões, 1999), in addition to dozens of artist's books and participation in anthologies, national and international magazines.
