Over the course of three weeks, Otelo Saraiva de Carvalho drafted the operational plan for the military coup that, ten days before 25 April 1974, on 15 April, in an apartment in Oeiras, toppled nearly half a century of fascist dictatorship in Portugal. He wrote the plan on 26 sheets of A4 paper.
