Kindergarten

To listen and give voice to the children

Inaugurated on November 12, 1973, with a current capacity for 85 children, it operates from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, closing on weekends, holidays and part of August. It has four activity rooms for children aged 3 to 5, a multipurpose hall, a backyard and a studio/library, with all spaces being properly equipped and prepared for this purpose.

The Kindergarten thus becomes a space for relationships, cooperation, collaboration and communication in which educators, families and children actively participate, sharing ideas, dividing tasks and assuming common responsibilities. The different spaces are organized to provide different meaningful experiences, guaranteeing an environment of involvement and emotional well-being that is crucial for quality learning. During the course of the projects, the spaces are adapted and built, as a way of responding to the children's motivations, as they must feel that the entire school, including space, materials and project, values their interaction and communication.
