Social Cartography of the Malcata Territory: Territorialised Report
The methodologies used in this project are based on previous action-research work carried out in both LISSA and OTSS, emphasising the ecological transition, the development of systems of participation and active citizenship developed in the context of LISSA, living governance, shared management and social cartography developed in the context of OTSS, from which we have methodologically built this incursion into the aforementioned territory.
The report is structured in four parts: a first part that seeks to frame the mission in a national and European cross-border context, as well as describing the background to the cooperation between Portugal and Brazil; a second part that presents the objectives of the social mapping, the methodological approach and the work plan; a third part that focuses on the main results of the social mapping in the three moments - Vilar Maior, Sabugal Senior University and Malcata; and a fourth part that focuses on the prospects for continuity taking into account this experience, ending with the conclusions.
