On 4 and 5 April, the National Forum of Ciência Viva Clubs in Schools brought together over 1,800 people at Alfândega do Porto — a true meeting of ideas, practices, and inspiration for science education in Portugal.

Among the many participants, we highlight the contribution of researcher Luciana Frazão, from the Societies and Environmental Sustainability Research Group at the Centre for Functional Ecology – Science for People & the Planet, part of the Terra Associate Laboratory at the University of Coimbra, and its extension at Universidade Aberta (Portugal). Within the scope of the European PHOENIX H2020 project, she presented an educational video game prototype designed to explore ecosystem services — a playful and critical tool to engage children in understanding the relationships between nature and society.
