Outside Activity– Technical staff

The applicable legislation to outside activity of public administration employees is set out in articles 19 et seq. of the General Labour Law in Public Functions (LFTP).

All technical staff, whether they work full-time or part-time, must apply for authorisation to perform outside activity, given that they are in principle employed on an exclusive basis and are therefore subject to the incompatibility and impediment regime set out in articles 19 et seq. of the LFTP.

I am a member of the technical staff. In which cases should I request authorisation to carry out outside activity?

You must request authorisation whenever you wish to carry out any public or private activity, whether paid or unpaid, other than your main (public) activity.

You must submit a request for approval of outside activity using the form Im0615, available on MOS, which must be sent to the Human Resources Management Service (SGRH), together with the written opinion(s) of your line manager(s), through a general Lugus request to the SGRH - Outside Activity.
