UC Supports Researchers in Submitting Applications to the "Teaming for Excellence" Call
On 26 February 2025, the University of Coimbra (UC), through the Strategic Areas Unit (NAE), organised an internal session to support the submission of applications to the 2025 “Teaming for Excellence” call. The event, part of the Horizon@UC initiative, aimed to encourage the submission of successful proposals and to answer questions from interested researchers.
The session featured the participation of the National Contact Point, Rui Munhá, who provided guidelines and key insights for preparing successful institutional applications.
Experiences from previous involvement in Teaming projects were shared by Manuel Santos, Scientific Director of MIA Portugal, and Elsa Henriques, Science and Technology Manager at CIBB, offering valuable perspectives on project implementation and participation at the UC.
The “Teaming for Excellence” call, part of Horizon Europe programme, aims to create or modernise Centres of Excellence in Widening countries through strategic partnerships with leading international institutions. Its impact is further enhanced by the condition to secure complementary investment.
