61st Volunteer Action for the Control of Invasive Plants

The 61st Volunteer Action for the Control of Invasive Plants at Pole II of the University of Coimbra (UC) is taking place on 10 May, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The grounds of Polo II are home to several species of invasive plants. Most of these species sprout vigorously after cutting, so traditional interventions are not effective in eliminating them.

That's why it's necessary to get down to work to help improve a space that belongs to everyone.

Among the activities carried out, the team focuses on peeling and removing mimosa shoots and other invasive plants. Registration until 10 May.
