The main objectives of the training course in "Algae Applications and Food Safety" are to provide techniques and methodologies for the extraction and characterization of bioactive compounds and evaluation of the nutritional profile of macroalgae, and to identify and demonstrate the application of macroalgae in the food sector as an alternative to a healthy diet.

Access conditions
Free access. Preferably aimed at postgraduate students in the field of Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering or similar area.

COURSE PRICE TO BE borne by the trainee: free of charge in the current edition

(The price of the course is €75 and will have 100% support from the PRR - Living the Future Academy Project - in the form of a scholarship, in line with the type of scholarships provided for in the Regulation for the Attribution of Incentives for the Training of Young People and Adults within the Scope of the Living the Future Academy Project).
