Step by Step: Applications open for Tutors and Mentees

The University of Coimbra's (UC) 'Step by Step' peer tutoring programme has opened registration today, 7 February, for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students who wish to tutor their peers or who need support in a specific course unit.

The programme offers peer-to-peer tutoring, where a more experienced student (tutor) helps another student (mentee) on their academic journey, providing academic support and a welcoming environment to enhance integration into academic life.

Students can take on one of two roles: Tutor, providing academic guidance and support to fellow students, or Mentee, to receive personalised advice and educational support.

Registrations can be made until March 6th at www.uc.pt/voluntariado/step-by-step/ .
