UC strengthens student mobility with complementary grants

There are an increasing number of mobile students at the UC, but the number of incoming students continues to outnumber the number of outgoing students. The scenario is similar in the rest of the Portuguese universities and, as if to “give a boost”, Santander decided to create “this complementary aid for students to decide to go on Erasmus”, explains the director of Santander Universidades, Inês Rocha de Gouveia. “We think it's a very enriching experience to spend a semester abroad, the skills that students acquire,” she says. This Santander scholarship seeks to be “that support that can determine the decision” to do Erasmus.
