8th ‘Innovation Days’ getting ready to challenge students and researchers
Registrations open until 20 October.
The University of Coimbra (UC) is hosting the 8th edition of Innovation Days, also known as i-Days, on 22 and 29 October in Cantanhede.
The event challenges higher education students and researchers to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems identified by healthcare organisations – all within just 24 hours. Participants will work in teams at Biocant Park, taking part in activities and training on innovation, design thinking and entrepreneurship.
Winners will go on to represent UC at the final event in Paris and may also take part in the EIT Health Career Path. Each winning team will receive a monetary prize of €500.

The initiative is organised in collaboration with CNC – Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, Biocant – Technology Transfer Association, and the Coimbra Local Health Unit – Hospital Arcebispo João Crisóstomo and Hospital Rovisco Pais.
