AAC/UC wins gold, silver and bronze at National University Judo Championship
The competition was held in Aveiro and brought together student-athletes from across the country.
The Academic Association of Coimbra-Coimbra Students' Union/University of Coimbra (AAC/UC) participated in the National University Judo Championship, securing gold, silver and bronze medals.
The major standouts were Beatriz Moreira, a student-athlete from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra (FPCEUC), who claimed her third national university title in the -78kg category, strengthening her status as one of the top judokas on the national university scene, and Bernardo Fernandes, from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra (FCTUC), who also won a gold medal in the -60kg category. Both were crowned national university champions in their respective weight divisions.

UC student-athlete João Rosa also competed in the -81kg category, representing Coimbra Nursing School, finishing in 5th place.
The National University Judo Championship gathered student-athletes from higher education institutions across Portugal.
