Back for another year: Summer holidays at the Botanical Garden of the University of Coimbra
The fun and educational programme takes place over two separate weeks, from 7 to 11 July and 21 to 25 July, offering children a full week of learning and enjoyment amidst the beauty of nature.
The Botanical Garden of the University of Coimbra is once again running its Summer Holidays programme, designed especially for children aged 7 to 10.
This fun and educational experience takes place over two weeks in July (7–11 and 21–25), offering a week-long programme of discovery and play in the green heart of the city.
The programme, which runs from Monday to Friday, is open from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm, and offers children a fun and memorable way to spend their school holidays in close contact with nature.
Tailored for curious young explorers, it promises lively days of scientific discovery, outdoor games, creative challenges, and hands-on activities. Children are encouraged to learn more about the world of plants, how nature works and basic scientific principles in a fun and engaging way in this inspiring natural environment.
Blending environmental education with creativity and play, the Botanical Garden invites families to enrol their children in this unique opportunity to connect with nature while sparking scientific curiosity.
Further details on registration and the full programme are available on the UC Botanical Garden’s official website here.
