EC2U hosts workshop on understanding the mind
The online workshop ‘Understanding the Mind: from Wellbeing to Early Detection’ will take place on Wednesday, 12 November, at 3 p.m. (Portugal time), and is open to the public.
EC2U – European Campus of City-Universities is holding another online workshop on Wednesday, 12 November, from 3 to 5 p.m. (Portugal time). Titled “Understanding the Mind: from Wellbeing to Early Detection”, the event fosters learning, reflection, and the exchange of ideas on mental wellbeing and the early detection of cognitive challenges.
The session will feature contributions from experts presenting different approaches to promoting mental health: Anu Mäkelä (University of Turku), Lily Rose Bound (University of Poitiers), and Sara Mora Simón (University of Salamanca).
In addition to the presentations, the workshop aims to encourage open dialogue among participants, who are invited to share their perspectives and experiences, contributing to a richer collective understanding of how to support wellbeing in academic settings.

EC2U brings together nine European universities: University of Coimbra (Portugal), University of Poitiers (France), Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany), Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (Romania), University of Salamanca (Spain), University of Pavia (Italy), University of Turku (Finland), Johannes Kepler University Linz (Austria), and Umeå University (Sweden).
