‘Through Goan Lenses’ Conferences at the UC Archive
The event will be held on 2nd June.
The University of Coimbra will host the Conferences Through Goan Lenses on 2 June at 2.30 p.m. in the D. João III Room (University of Coimbra Archive).
The event will feature presentations by Professor Parag Parobo (Goa University) on the topic 'Religious Processes and a Regional Tradition in Goa', and Professor Vishvesh Kandolkar (Goa College of Architecture) on the topic 'Goa's Bom Jesus as Visual Culture: A Monument's Journey from Colonial Icon to Postcolonial Identity”.
The initiative is organised by the UNESCO Chair in Intercultural Dialogue in Heritage of Portuguese Influence and the Centre for the History of Society and Culture, in partnership with the Oriente Foundation.
