Two new UC Alumni Ambassadors to be appointed at Welcome Sessions for 2nd Semester Mobility Students

Alexandre Leitão and Rui Dinis will be invested as Alumni Ambassadors on the 3rd and 10th of February at the Rectory Auditorium.

The University of Coimbra (UC) welcomes over 600 new mobility students who are joining the institution in the second semester of the 2024/25 academic year. The two welcome sessions and the inauguration of the new UC Alumni Ambassadors will take place on 3 and 10 February at 14:30 at the Rectory Auditorium.

Alexandre Leitão, Consul General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong, will be appointed during the welcome session on 3 February.
Rui Dinis, entrepreneur and current CEO & Project Director of an international consortium responsible for the design and construction of the new Medellín metro line in Colombia, through the companies Mota-Engil and CRRC Hong Kong, will be installed on 10 February.

Both sessions will be addressed by João Nuno Calvão da Silva, UC Vice-Rector for External Relations and Alumni.
