To mark World Food Day on 16 October, the University of Coimbra (UC) is holding a series of online talks on the theme of 'Nutrition and Health for a Healthier Life'.

Eight sessions, each running from 6 to 8 pm, will bring together experts to discuss the challenges of nutrition, healthy eating habits and the environmental impact of dietary choices.

This event is organised by the Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology (CNC-UC) and the Coimbra Institute for Clinical and Biomedical Research (iCBR-FMUC), in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) and the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (i3S).

Established by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), World Food Day raises awareness of the importance of universal access to safe, nutritious and sustainable food.

Participation is open to all, with no registration required. Attendees can join by scanning the QR code or accessing the session link at the scheduled time.
