She integrated the Commission on Ethics and Deontology of the Research of the Faculty of Psychology and Sciences of Education at the University of Coimbra (FPCEUC) (2017-2024), having been the president of the CEDI in the mandates between 2020-2024; She is an auxiliary Professor of FPCEUC; She has a PhD (2007) and a Master (2001) in Psychology of Organizations and Work Psychology by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Coimbra University (FPCEUC). She earned a Bachelor's Degree in 1991 in Social Psychology and Organizations from the Higher Institute of Applied Psychology of Lisbon (ISPA). She was the vice-coordinator and a member of the Portuguese team of the European Master of Master of Labor Psychology, Organizations and Human Resources – Erasmus Mundus (WOP-P) (2012-2020). She Coordinates the Master's internships in her area at FPCEUC. She is a member of the Center for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognitive and Behavioral Intervention (CINEICC-FPCEUC) and the Outermost Regions Sustainable Ecosystem for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (OSEAN-UMa). She is an effective member of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists (OPP).

Presidente do Conselho Nacional de Ética e Deontologia da Ordem dos Médicos e Membro do Conselho Nacional de Ética para as Ciências da Vida.

Professor Associado com Agregação da Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra (FEUC); Licenciatura (1994), Mestrado (1997) e Doutoramento (2007) em Sociologia pela FEUC; Presidente da Direção da Associação Portuguesa de Sociologia. Susana Magalhães is the Coordinator of the Unidade de Conduta Responsável em Investigação (URCR) (URCR) at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (i3S), University of Porto. She has a PhD in Bioethics from the Portuguese Catholic University, with a dissertation entitled "Bioética e Literatura: entre a Imaginação e a Responsabilidade”" (If-Press, 2016) and is a researcher in the areas of Narrative Medicine and Research Ethics and Integrity. Assistant Professor at Fernando Pessoa University and Collaborator in the Ethics Forum at Católica Porto Business School. Member of the founding group of the Rede Portuguesa de Reprodutibilidade Científica; member of the Sociedade Europeia de Medicina Narrativa (EUNAMES) (EUNAMES) and Certified Trainer of the European VIRT2UE Train the Trainer Programme. Coordinator of the Study and Reflection Group in Narrative Medicine (GERMEN)

Licenciada em Direito pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Coimbra em 1972, Ministra da Saúde, Ministra para a Igualdade e Deputada em várias Legislaturas. Neste âmbito foi Presidente da Comissão Parlamentar de Saúde, tendo sido proponente da Lei da Paridade, a Lei da Procriação Medicamente Assistida, e da a Lei do Testamento Vital. Foi Presidente da Assembleia Mundial de Saúde da Organização Mundial de Saúde. Foi membro do Conselho Geral da Universidade de Coimbra. Desenvolve uma ação intensa no domínio do voluntariado, como membro de órgãos de direção de várias instituições não lucrativas da área da Economia Social. Integrou o Conselho Geral da Universidade de Coimbra e é membro da Assembleia de Representantes de várias Faculdades, bem como de vários Júris nacionais e internacionais. É membro do Conselho das Antigas Ordens Militares, tem sido Conferencista no país e no estrangeiro, docente colaboradora de instituições universitárias, prefaciadora e co-autora de várias publicações e autora de múltiplos artigos de opinião na imprensa escrita. Para além de variadíssimos prémios e distinções, foi-lhe atribuída pelo Presidente da República a Grã-Cruz da Ordem de Cristo em reconhecimento da sua carreira e em 2022 o título de Doutor Honoris Causa, pela Universidade Europeia.
