Candidates are eligible for this course if and only if
a) are nationals of an EU country or have dual nationality status; b) those over the age of 14, up to a maximum age of 35; c) live in the area of the District of Coimbra; d) do not suffer from civil incapacity, interdiction or disqualification;
e) have not been convicted, by a final judgment, of a felonious crime that carries an effective prison sentence; f) have not been disciplinarily penalized in any other sport with a penalty equal to or greater than ninety days' suspension;
g) do not have an illness or physical defect incompatible with the practice of refereeing;
h) be at least 1.60 m tall; i) have the national minimum literary qualification or equivalent.
