APPACDM

The Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of People with Intellectual Disabilities (APPACDM) works to create opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities and/or those experiencing social exclusion. Some of its projects include:

• “Beyond the Obvious – Social Stories: Intervention Proposals to Improve Pragmatic Skills”: a pictographic book;

• “The Quality of Life of Families of People with Disabilities and Support Needs during the Pandemic”;

• “Images and Stories: I Change, You Change, and Together We Change the World”;

• INCORPORA Programme: aimed at improving the social and professional integration of people in situations of social vulnerability.
