Social Centre of the Legion of Good Will

The Social Centre of the Legion of Good Will (LBV) is an educational, cultural, philanthropic, ecumenical, and non-profit social solidarity institution. It operates in several locations around the world, including Portugal, namely in the Coimbra region. Some of its programmes include:

  • “Citizen Baby”: guidance and nutritional support for pregnant women;

  • “Charity Patrol”: support for people experiencing homelessness;

  • “Seed of Good Will”: support for children aged 5 to 11;

  • “Human Being, Being Family”: food and essential goods support and empowerment;

  • “Happy Smile”: oral health campaigns;

  • “A Step Forward”: support for families in need;

  • “Live More”: quality of life in later life.
