Voluntary work is a valuable tool for social institutions and is essential to achieving their aims and objectives. It is through voluntary work that many of these institutions obtain the resources necessary for their various activities, both routine and occasional.
Furthermore, for you, as a UC student, volunteering enables you to develop a range of competencies and knowledge that are essential for your personal, academic, and professional success. It allows you to gain a new perspective on your community, thus preparing you for the reality you will encounter once you complete your studies. In addition, it is important to be aware of the impact you can have on society and how your unique skills may be crucial to improving the lives of others. And this is only possible if you volunteer for the cause that best suits you!
The initiatives promoted by UC are open to the entire academic community:
-
Students from all academic levels at UC
-
Technical staff
-
Academic staff
There are also initiatives aimed at members of the wider community outside UC, and these are always identified as such.
