ABOUT ANO ZERO PROGRAMME
The Ano Zero programme is a one-year preparatory program for pre-university students, designed to provide the linguistic and disciplinary knowledge necessary to enter first-cycle degree programs (Bachelor’s or Integrated Master’s) at the University of Coimbra.
There are three types of Ano Zero, each aimed at candidates with different profiles:

Ano Zero in Science and Technology (taught exclusively in Portuguese)

Ano Zero in Social Sciences and Humanities(taught exclusively in Portuguese)

Ano Zero in Portuguese Language (Foundation Year Programme in Portuguese Language)
