GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The DSPS-4 is a brief measure comprising only 4 items which aims to assess sleepiness perception as a trait, thus, no specific time frame is indicated in the instructions. The score results from the sum of the 4 items, resulting in a total composite score. The available response options are never (0), rarely (1), often (2), almost always (3), and always (4). The scores may range from 0 to 16 points.
