This program is a classroom-based intervention designed to promote 3-8-year-old children’s socio-emotional skills and self-regulation and to reduce conduct problems by strengthening teacher strategies of classroom management and home-school communication.

The program is implemented in monthly workshops and focuses on contents such as: a) promoting positive relationships with children and family and the pro-active teacher; b) the importance of positive attention, encouragement and praise; c) using incentives to motivate children; d) reduction of inappropriate behaviors; e) negative consequences; f) promoting social skills and problem-solving.

The workshops are led by facilitators with a certified training, using a collaborative approach as well as active and experiential methods, like role-play and group discussion triggered by vignettes of teacher-children interactions.
