The aim of this research was to explore the relationship between personality variables and well-being. Specifically, we investigated the direct effect of five personality factors and their facets, as well as of personal projects, on subjective well-being components and psychological well-being dimensions.

Moreover, we explored whether personal projects have a mediator and/or moderator role on the relationship between the five factors of personality and the two well-being varieties; and whether personal projects have specific linkages with subjective and psychological well-being.
