Biografia

Life Sciences Researcher with a strong academic foundation, holding a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Biomedical Research specialized in Neurosciences from the University of Coimbra. Proficient in a wide range of laboratory techniques, including EVs manipulation and in vitro assays, and possessing Modular Training in Laboratory Animal Science. Published author, active participant in scientific conferences, and recognized for excellence in a poster presentation. Research experience as a research fellow in the Advanced Therapies Group, where her primary focus was on using a microfluidic system as an in vitro blood-brain barrier model to study the BBB and the challenges associated with therapeutic brain delivery. Currently, Magda Rodrigues is actively engaged as a Research Fellow in the ongoing project titled "Deciphering the neonatal shift in neurovascular coupling: a multimodal approach" at ICNAS, UC. A dedicated, collaborative, and motivated professional committed to scientific advancement.
