"Science CEMMPRE in Action!" at European Researchers' Night

CEMMPRE participated in the European Researchers' Night (ERN) in Coimbra. According to the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research of the University of Coimbra, "The European Researchers' Night is a science communication event that takes place annually in several European cities, with the aim of promoting awareness and the population's involvement in science, bringing researchers and civil society closer together".

This year the ERN theme was "SCIGLO -Science for Global Challenges", and CEMMPRE participated with the topic "Science CEMMPRE in Action!", to show to the public some of the work carried out at CEMMPRE, different types of elements were used, such as games and demonstrations (e.g. 3D printer and robotic elements). The game aimed to make CEMMPRE's various research areas known through simple questions adapted to the age and knowledge of the participants.

The Advanced Production and Intelligent Systems (ARISE) Associated Laboratory was present through CEMMPRE and Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering (ISISE).
