February 3 - July 2, 2026
An initiative that results from the joint collaboration between FPCEUC, CINEICC, CECH and LREA.
This cycle aims to be part of the noblest academic tradition: the advancement of knowledge through argumentative debate and the confrontation of ideas and methodologies. We do not propose to be a place of closed answers, but rather a shared territory of demanding and provocative questions, where complexity is assumed as a necessary condition for rigorous knowledge.
The Concept: Each session will bring together two researchers — one from the biological or neuroscience fields and the other from the social sciences, humanities or philosophy — to consider common themes (such as Memory, Identity, Gender, Sexuality, Spirituality and Death) from different perspectives. The aim is to make disciplinary differences productive, revealing how these phenomena take on new meanings depending on the language and methodologies used to address them.
