The Reading Workshop: Poetry and Philosophy will take place in February and March, where poems and philosophical themes will be read together, encouraging critical and dialogical reading. This workshop is open to anyone, with or without philosophical knowledge.
Each session will include an introduction to the theme, readings of poems and philosophical extracts, debates and presentations.
The sessions will have the following themes:
Session 1 - What is poetry? (Poetry)
Session 2 - Am I another? (Identity)
Session 3 - Is reality real? (Reality)
Session 4 - Does fire burn without being told? (Love)
Session 5 - Is there reason for the senses? (Reason and the Senses)
Session 6 - Is there another in me? (The Other)
Session 7 - What can be shown? (Language)
Session 8 - Is there revolution in the word? (Politics)
Session 9 - Does poetry teach you to fall better? (Ethics)
Session 10 - What is Philosophy? (Philosophy)
The workshop will run with a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 15. You can register using this form (Free registration, Deadline: January 15 2025).
Starting on February 4 2025, the sessions will take place every Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm.
