Isabel of Portugal - The woman in the sphere of holiness

On May 20 and 21, we celebrated the 400th anniversary of the canonisation of Queen Isabel through the ‘Isabel of Portugal’ International Colloquium. It was a memorable two days in which our International Colloquium and the ‘Represent'arte’ workshop paid tribute to this inspiring figure, who tirelessly sowed the seeds of love, faith and hope.

It was a privilege to revisit the life of Portugal's first canonised woman, a true beacon of generosity and consolation for the afflicted. Her legacy, which echoes in the ‘revolution of tenderness’ and in the incessant search for peace, continues to be a perennial model of virtue today.
