The Loeb Classical Library, founded by James Loeb in 1911, has always aimed to make Greek and Latin literature accessible to the broadest possible range of readers. The digital Loeb Classical Library extends this mission into the twenty-first century. Harvard University Press is honoured to renew James Loeb's vision of accessibility, presenting an interconnected, fully searchable, and perpetually growing virtual library. Over 520 volumes of Latin, Greek, and English texts allow readers to browse, search, bookmark, annotate, and share content with ease.
The Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies provides a subscription to the Loeb Classical Library's digital archive. Access is possible through the UC's institutional data.
